Situation & Business Challenge

When Prevacid® 24HR went over-the-counter, their marketing team needed to optimize their professional product sampling effort. They were looking for a way to measure the impact, effectiveness and ROI of distributing product samples and starter kits to patients through physician offices.

SampleTrak Research Process

Our proprietary SampleTrak™ product sampling program was leveraged to capture insights from patients who received Prevacid 24HR samples during their visit to a physician office. Two phases of research were conducted. Phase 1 took place within 24 hours of the visit / receipt of the product samples. Phase 2 took place after an extended usage period, allowing enough time for patients to make another category purchase.
