The Quirks Event in Chicago, happening at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare this April 1-3, promises to bring together some of the brightest minds in the market research industry, offering an exciting opportunity to learn, connect and share insights. AMC Global’s EVP Lea Ben-Akiva will be attending—and starting the event on a high note by joining the Women in Research reception on Tuesday, April 1. This popular kick-off gathering is the perfect opportunity to connect with other trailblazing women in the research space before diving into the action-packed conference beginning on Wednesday, April 2.
Lea is looking forward to attending a variety of sessions that promise fresh perspectives on the latest trends in consumer insights, AI in research, and the power of understanding real human behavior. Wednesday she’s planning to catch experts from Kraft Heinz, Colgate-Palmolive and Mars Wrigley talk about “CPG’s Next Frontier: Navigating Change, Consumer Truths, and Market Realities” and learn more about tackling research challenges related to innovation, pricing, sustainability, and more. Also on April 2, she will be catching “Where Does AI-Moderated Qual/Quant Work in Research and Where Does It Not?” This session will explore real-world case studies from Nestlé and Listen Labs to show how AI speeds up insights delivery and digs deeper into customer emotions and behavior, but also how human intuition still plays a crucial role in delivering the best insights. We’ve been talking about AI here at AMC Global too, particularly about AI and the needed human touch. This day caps off with “Cocktails with Quirk’s” in the conference hall.
Thursday, April 3, “How You Show Up: Leading Insights for C-Suite Executives” will provide practical strategies for creating and delivering insights that resonate with C-suite executives, maximizing research, and advancing your career. Heide Tierney will share about her time at major brands like Tropicana, Constellation Brands, ConAgra and Kellogg’s. Also, PepsiCo will be presenting on “Getting REAL with Humans is the Best Way to Drive Positive Disruption for Your Business” and talk about Frito-Lay’s mission to disrupt the market. And just because the sessions wrap up Thursday doesn’t mean the fun needs to end, the Quirk’s Happy Hour caps off the event in the Registration Foyer after the show.
We hope to see you at the show! Let Lea know if you’re attending, and make sure to connect and catch up while you’re there.
